American Motors Corp. is raising some prices.
The suggested retail price of average-equipped Jeep utility vehicles and family wagons will be increased by $388, or 2.5%. The prices, effective May 1, will range from $120 on the two-wheel-drive Jeep Comanche pickup to $626 on the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The smallest Jeep, the new Wrangler, isn’t affected, AMC said, nor are leftover models of its predecessor, the CJ-7.
