‘88 Olympics Mascot Dies

APPLE VALLEY, Minn. —
A Siberian tiger that was to be a mascot of the 1988 Olympic Games in South Korea died Monday, a zoo official said. The tiger, from the Minnesota Zoological Gardens, died after he was anesthetized to prepare him for shipment.
