Fire raged through a block-long building at a marina in North Miami Beach, Fla., destroying millions of dollars of pleasure boats ranging from small outboard sport-fishing rigs to high-tech speedboats. There were no injuries. Damage was estimated at $5 million. Among the craft were cigarette boats, high-speed catamarans that are popular among drug smugglers and law enforcement agencies because they can travel at speeds up to 60 m.p.h. The cause of the fire was not known.
