A woman who said she is Rock Hudson’s adopted half-sister filed suit to be included in the late actor’s will. Alice Scherer Waier contended that Hudson was not of sound mind and was unduly influenced by associates to exclude her from his will. Waier, 32, of Grants Pass, Ore., also said in her Los Angeles County probate court suit that Hudson’s advisers blocked her efforts to telephone or write Hudson and forced him into “a life style contrary to his traditional upbringing.” Hudson, 59, died last October of complications related to AIDS, acquired immune deficiency syndrome. Waier said she was adopted by Hudson’s natural father. Because Hudson and Waier had the same father, even if by adoption, their legal status as half-siblings is the same as if they were blood relatives, said Waier’s attorney, Paul Monzione.
