Allred Files Complaint Against Rape Case Judge

Feminist attorney Gloria Allred filed a complaint Monday with the state Commission on Judicial Performance against Pasadena Superior Court Judge Gilbert Alston, because he dismissed a rape case in which the victim was a prostitute, then commented, “A whore is a whore is a whore.”

Allred also asked Los Angeles County prosecutors to boycott Alston when victims are female.

Alston had dismissed the case against Daniel Zabuski for allegedly forcing prostitute Rhonda DaCosta to engage in sexual acts and then stealing $150 from her. The judge commented that he did not think it was up to the court to “resolve the contractual dispute between a whore and her trick.”
