Ron Lane of Bishop caught a 12-pound 12-ounce brown trout at Upper Twin Lake in the Bridgeport Area Sunday. Mae and Jeff Wilson of Altadena, who were ice fishing at Lake Sabrina near Bishop, caught two rainbow trout weighing a total of 10-6.

Most Southland lakes had windy conditions but the 20-m.p.h. breezes subsided by Thursday. At Pyramid Lake, Rick Cearley of Northridge caught a 25-pound striped bass, and Frank Burns of Canoga Park landed five stripers totaling 43 pounds.
