Daylight Time
We are back on Daylight-Saving Time. Why? To save energy? Is that any longer valid?
Getting home earlier in the daylight hours in summer means that the house has not begun to cool down. Therefore the air conditioning is on an extra hour. Air conditioning uses more energy than electric bulbs.
I have come to dread DST; it has become the precursor of higher electric bills. let’s save energy and stay with Standard Time.
