John O’Brien, 55, has been elected executive vice president of Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., and is expected to succeed George M. Skurla as president when Skurla retires Aug. 1.
O’Brien had been president of Grumman’s data systems division. Robert J. Myers, senior vice president and head of Grumman’s services division, will succeed O’Brien.
