DISNEY UNVEILING OF ‘EO’ FILM SET
Sept. 19 has been set as the opening date for “Captain EO,” the Walt Disney Co.’s multimillion-dollar musical-film attraction from director Francis Ford Coppola and executive producer George Lucas that stars Michael Jackson.
The 12-minute three-dimensional space fantasy, which will cost an estimated $10 million to $15 million, is scheduled to open simultaneously at Disneyland and Walt Disney World in Florida.
