Hughes Treasurer to Head Economic Agency in L. A.

Milliam MacGillivray, treasurer of Hughes Aircraft Co., has been elected chairman of the board of directors of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp.

Named with him were Robert B. Bush, vice chairman of CBC Inc., vice chairman, and Phillip R. Nicholson, partner in the real estate law firm of Cox, Castle & Nicholson, secretary.

The new officers will serve on the agency’s executive board, along with two past chairmen, William T. Huston, chairman and chief executive officer of Watson Land Co., and Albert Dorskin, president of MCA Inc.
