Perceptronics Wins 2-Year Army Contract

Perceptronics announced that it has received a two-year, $4.5-million contract from the Army to provide a computer system designed to allow commanders to communicate with their staffs in combat situations.

The system, with up to 46 work stations, also will handle such computer tasks as word processing and preparing spread sheets. Woodland Hills-based Perceptronics makes computer and video equipment for the military.

The company reported earnings of $500,993 on revenue of $21.1 million for the nine-month period ended Dec. 31.
