Share

Incomnet, a data communications company, reported a narrowed loss of $796,154, or 11 cents a share, for its first quarter. During the first three months of 1985, it lost $1.1 million, or 15 cents a share. Sales were up 77%, to $650,960.

The Westlake Village-based company, which was started in 1974, sells systems that link personal computers to far-flung networks. The company said it has been losing money because of development costs.

Incomnet said it lost less money this quarter, however, by cutting staffing and costs for telephone services.
