Hybridoma Sciences Inc. said it has canceled its proposed acquisition of Covalent Technology Corp., a subsidiary of KMS Industries Inc.

The Fountain Valley biotechnology firm said it decided to seek a firm with technologies different from those being developed by Covalent.
