TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —
Gov. Bob Graham signed a second death warrant today on Theodore Bundy, a former Utah law student, for murdering two Florida State University sorority sisters. Execution was set for 7 a.m. July 2.
Bundy, 39, also under death sentence for killing a 12-year-old Lake City schoolgirl, had been scheduled to die in the electric chair March 4, but the U.S. Supreme Court blocked the execution. The high court lifted the stay May 5, the same day as the airing of the conclusion of an NBC miniseries about Bundy.
