Bettie Falk puts the players through their paces at rehearsals for “The Ol’ Bijou,” a musical that will include mime, dancing, singing and acting for performers over the age of 50. “There’s something for everybody,” said Falk of Northridge, a volunteer dance teacher who is helping to direct the musical at the Robert Wilkinson Senior Center in Northridge. Falk said the show is designed to give as many people as possible a chance to participate. “Some people just can’t dance, or don’t want to, but love to act or sing, so I thought, ‘Let’s give it a whirl,’ and its really taken hold,” Falk said. Falk expects “The Ol’ Bijou” to debut this summer at the senior center.
