Van Nuys auto workers delayed their vote.

Members of UAW Local 645 will cast ballots today and early Friday on a tentative agreement with General Motors to adopt Japanese-style production techniques at the company’s assembly plant. Most workers had been scheduled to vote Wednesday but union officials said they delayed the voting to allow workers to learn more about the so-called team concept plan.
