R. Bruce Renda has been named a director of Distributed Logic Corp., raising the number of directors to five on the Anaheim-based company’s board.

Renda, 60, is dean of the School of Engineering and Technology at Purdue University in Indiana.

Distributed Logic, a maker of computer equipment, reported net income of $702,700 for the six months ended April 30, compared to net income of $528,500 for the same period a year ago.
