Di Giorgio sold a unit to Bergen Brunswig.

The company said it has entered into a definitive agreement with Bergen Brunswig Corp. for the sale of LAD Drug, Di Giorgio’s drug distribution business in California, for about $40 million cash. The deal, which is subject to government review, is expected to close by June 30, the company said.
