Navratilova, Lendl Win in Paris

PARIS —
Top seeds Ivan Lendl and Martina Navratilova scored straight-set victories today to move into the fourth round of the French Open, where one match was interrupted when police found a suspicious package that turned out to be an alarm clock.
Tennis continued elsewhere around the Roland Garros complex as police evacuated more than 4,000 people from Court 1, with 12th-seeded Guillermo Vilas playing Sweden’s Jan Gunnarsson. Their game resumed after an hour’s delay.
