Linda Fox has been appointed president of Financial Resources Mortgage, Mission Valley, a division of International Savings. She had served as vice president/real estate finance and regional loan manager for Great American Savings.

John Pollis, marketing director for the Housing Group of Fleetwood Enterprises, Riverside, has received Marketing Director of the Year honors from the National Assn. of Home Builders’ National Sales & Marketing Council. Pollis was named in the category of new home detached housing builders with a total volume of 250 homes a year.

David W. Dresnick, a real estate mortgage banker, has joined George Smith Financial Services, Los Angeles, as president and chief operating officer. Dresnick will succeed Allen M. Condon, who is leaving to resume his previous involvement in the apartment development field.

Jeffrey R. Matsen, a Newport Beach attorney, has been elected president of the Orange Tri-County California chapter of Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute. He previously served as president of RESSI’s Southern California chapter.

Sanders Real Estate, Laguna Niguel, is now a division of Landmark Land Co. Inc. and its principal, Monte Sanders, has joined Landmark Real Estate Co. as vice president and director of sales for Duna La Quinta in La Quinta.

Robert Englekirk, president of Robert Englekirk Consulting Structural Engineers Inc., has received the Henry C. Turner Award for 1985 given by the American Concrete Institute for notable achievement in design of concrete buildings. In 1984 he had won the Alfred E. Landau Award for innovative design of reinforced concrete structures.

Allen F. Flanders has been appointed general manager of Hope Consulting Group in San Francisco and will continue as a principal architect with the San Diego-based architectural and engineering firm.

Diane Cullen Alfvin, formerly with Western Office Interiors, has joined Swimmer Cole Martinez Curtis, a Marina del Rey interior design and space-planning firm, as associate in charge of the downtown Los Angeles office.
