Dial R for Revenge: Jilted Woman Calls Her Man 425 Times

GRETNA, La. — A jilted woman charged with harassing her ex-boyfriend by telephoning him 377 times, and hanging up, has been accused of 48 more counts, authorities said today.
Michelle Alexie, 18, is accused of making the calls to her ex-boyfriend at his job. Authorities said the calls averaged 13 a minute on a telephone not equipped with speed-dialing.
Alexie, who was released on her own recognizance, was unavailable for comment--her telephone has been disconnected.
