Soviet Party Organizer Fired Over Chain Letter

MOSCOW —
A Soviet Communist Party member has been expelled for sending 20 people copies of a chain letter warning of bad luck if the recipient threw it away, the Communist youth daily Komsomolskaya Pravda reported Saturday.
It said Mamed Toylyev was also fired as a district Communist Youth League (Komsomol) organizer for “political ignorance, superstition and spreading ideologically hostile materials.”
