Soviets Close With a Win

NAOKATA, Japan — The Soviet women’s national volleyball team struggled to a 14-16, 15-9, 12-15, 16-14, 15-2 victory over the Japanese national women’s team Sunday in its sixth and final exhibition match in Japan.

The Soviet team finished the Japan series with five victories and one defeat.
