Cincinnati Reds majority partner Marge Schott said in a television interview that she accepted a $132,000 performance bonus last season and has been the target of criticism from two of the team’s general partners.

Mrs. Schott said in a copyright story on WLWT-TV that her main opponents within the team’s management structure are minority partners Carl Kroch of Chicago and George Strike of Cincinnati.

“I very much would” like to see Mrs Schott removed as general partner, Kroch said in a telephone interview.

Mrs Schott said she earned the bonus because the team’s attendance improved significantly last year and because she attended more than 200 public events to promote the Reds.

Earlier, Mrs. Schott had denied accepting a bonus.
