Judge Bans Cross Display by Volunteer Fire Dept.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. —
A judge Thursday banned a Greenwich volunteer fire department from displaying a cross on the firehouse at Christmas. U.S. District Judge Ellen Bree Burns said the display violated the First Amendment rights of Greenwich residents who brought suit.
