Three Specialists Will Speak on Tax Revisions Bill Implications

Three of the nation’s leading real estate tax specialists will examine the implications of proposed tax reform legislation at the annual Mid-Year Real Estate & Economic Forecast Seminar June 27 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, and June 30 at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel.

Michael S. Carliner of the National Assn. of Home Builders, Paul D. Koehler of Laventhol & Horwath, and Stan Ross of Kenneth Leventhal & Co. will discuss the impact on the building industry of the tax reform legislation being considered by Congress.

The keynote speaker for the Los Angeles session will be Edwin J. Gray, chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, while Martha R. Seger, governor of the Federal Reserve Board, will be the keynoter in Anaheim. More than 20 panelists will take part in the program.

The 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. sessions are sponsored by the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California. CPA credit and seven hours of continuing education credit from the Department of Real Estate are available from the sessions, which cost $155.
