S. Africa Threatens All, Anniversary Rally Told
The South African government is a threat to every country in Africa and can be removed only by force, an African National Congress official said Monday.
Dan Tloome, deputy secretary general of the black nationalist organization, told a rally marking the 10th anniversary of the Soweto riots that his group is determined not to give Pretoria an excuse to attack neighboring countries. But he added, “No front-line state (near South Africa) or any other African country can be safe so long as this aggressive and inhuman regime persists on our continent.”
