Carson : Reward Offered in Arson

The Los Angeles City Board of Education has approved a $10,000 reward, the largest ever for an arson case in the Los Angeles Unified School District, for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for vandalism and fire at Carnegie Junior High School in Carson.
Damage from the June 8 incidents, which destroyed four classrooms and damaged 11 others, is estimated at between $300,000 and $500,000.
Witnesses are asked to call the school district police at (213) 625-6631 or the Los Angeles Fire Department Arson Unit at (213) 485-6095.
