Golf Tournament Will Benefit Boys Club of Hollywood

The major fund-raising event for the Boys Club of Hollywood, its annual golf tournament at the Riviera Country Club, got a head start with a check for $5,000 from Petersen Publishing Co.

The daylong golf event will be held Monday, July 14. It is co-sponsored by Petersen Publishing and the Hollywood Optimist Club.

The $200 entry fee includes a buffet luncheon, an awards party, gifts, contest prizes, cart rental and 18 holes of golf. Registration and lunch will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Boys Club and the Optimists.
