Richard E. Cheney will succeed Loet A. Velmans as chairman of Hill & Knowlton when Velmans retires Jan. 1, the public relations firm announced.
Cheney, 64, currently is vice chairman of the New York-based company and chairman of the firm’s U.S. operations.
