H. J. Heinz Co. of Pittsburgh said its fiscal fourth-quarter and full-year profits jumped 20.1% and 13.4%, respectively. Revenue for the quarter was up 13.2%. President and Chief Executive Anthony J. F. O’Reilly attributed the strong performance to a cost-reduction program and to greater sales of products and services with higher profit margins.
