Health Plans

Robert Samuelson’s column on health-care plans (Editorial Pages, June 18) is typically perceptive and will come to the attention of many senior executives. As a consultant to corporations, I find it hard to decide which type of health insurance to recommend: A plan that encourages providers (hospitals and doctors) to earn more by doing more, or one by which providers earn more by doing less.

Think about it. We are all involved and the stakes are high.
