Arcadia : Blues for Police Department

The Arcadia Police Department will switch from brown uniforms to blue. Police Chief Neal Johnson cited creation of a new image in the community and support by his staff as reasons for the change.

The projected cost of the uniform switch is $35,000. Arcadia is the last police department in the San Gabriel Valley to make the color change. Sheriff’s Department and California Highway Patrol officers continue to wear brown.
