Jail and Courthouse

I was pleasantly surprised to see the June 22 editorial (“Jail Dispute Out of Hand”) concerning the jail in Santee. The editorial expressed my thoughts, except that you left out the obvious that, along with a jail, the county should put in a courthouse to cut down on the transportation of people to hearings. With the courthouse, the city would have attorneys wanting office space and the support industries wanting space to help the attorneys and so forth. The jail would bring the development the city is looking for.

You will probably be banned from Santee like they banned the adult stores. By the way, if the adult stores are banned in a city, does that mean that the people who wait on you are supposed to act childish?
