CHICAGO —
Two teen-agers have been ordered jailed in lieu of $500,000 bond for the beating of a man accused of killing one of the youths’ sister.
Paul Evans and Andre Laughlin, both 17, were arrested and accused of beating James Duffie with a baseball bat.
Duffie, 24, and Eric Spivey, 17, face murder charges in the June 17 strangulation of Evans’ 14-year-old sister, Priscilla, a cheerleader and honor student who was to graduate from junior high school the day of her death.
