San Pedro’s Graduation

Our San Pedro High School principal thought he was giving our kids a lesson in discipline by stopping their graduation ceremony (June 19) when he thought they were being unruly.
He taught them a lesson and one I know they (and he) will never forget. When you’re making a decision that involves 550 people, you should take your time and decide what is best for everyone.
He broke the hearts and spirits of all of our kids. I’ll never forget their faces and all the tears shed on a graduation day that was supposed to be (and would have been) otherwise full of happiness.
