LONDON — Princess Diana spent her 25th birthday today attending a host of official functions in honor of someone else--visiting West German President Richard von Weizsaecker.
Buckingham Palace would not say whether the Royal Family--including Diana’s two young sons and husband, Prince Charles--planned a party for the princess.
Charles was given ideas on what to buy his wife for her birthday when he toured a products exhibition today at the Royal College of Art.
Design students suggested a yogurt maker, a fold-away typewriter and a heated ski boot.
