Charles A. Roby has been appointed vice president of Xerox Corporation’s Western Service Operations in Irvine. The unit is responsible for service of company equipment in all areas west of the Rockies, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Roby began with Xerox in 1972 and held several marketing management positions at corporate headquarters in Rochester, N.Y. He transferred to Southern California as regional manager for customer service in 1979 and has held that position until now.
