Storm Ties Up Wellington

WELLINGTON, New Zealand —
Strong winds and rain sank a police launch in Wellington Harbor on Wednesday, drowning two police officers, grounding planes at the international airport and causing major traffic jams, officials said. The launch sank in waves of up to 20 feet and winds gusting to 60 knots.
