Cambodian Television Will Switch to Color

BANGKOK, Thailand —
Cambodia announced Wednesday that its national television station is about to begin broadcasting in color.
The official news agency SPK quoted radio and television bureau director Kim Yin as saying that the switch “underlined that the program must reflect the efforts of the Cambodian people in the national defense and development and the positive changes in the life of the population.” SPK estimated that the station reaches about 5,000 sets.
