Building in Cairo Collapses; 27 Killed

CAIRO — A seven-story apartment building with 100 residents collapsed, killing 27 people and seriously injuring 20, Cairo newspapers reported.
Al Ahram said in its Saturday edition that the structure--located in the Nile delta city of Mit Ghamr, 45 miles north of Cairo--collapsed Friday morning and that rescuers were still searching the rubble.
