Three generations of the Bridges family will act together in “Chester, I Love You,” a TV film that ABC will broadcast on its “Disney Sunday Movie” series next season. Starring in the Thanksgiving story will be Lloyd Bridges, his son Beau and Beau’s son Jordan. Beau also will direct the drama, about a boy who agrees to raise an injured gosling.

CBS has set July 24 as the date to rebroadcast “Death of a Salesman,” with Dustin Hoffman in his acclaimed performance as Willy Loman. The TV staging of a Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s famous play also stars Kate Reid, John Malkovich, Stephen Lang and Charles Durning.

Treat Williams will portray J. Edgar Hoover and David Ogden Stiers will play President Franklin D. Roosevelt in “Hoover,” a TV movie about the late FBI director. The biographical film will be shown on the Showtime cable channel. Others in the cast include Rip Torn as President Lyndon Johnson and Louise Fletcher as Hoover’s mother.

Ann-Margret and Claudette Colbert will play “The Two Mrs. Grenvilles” in a four-hour adaptation of the novel by Dominick Dunne for NBC. Colbert, who won an Academy Award in 1934 for “It Happened One Night,” plays Ann-Margret’s mother-in-law in the story, an aristocratic woman who doesn’t like the fact that her son has married a showgirl.

Charlotte Rae has left the cast of “The Facts of Life” and will be replaced as resident chaperone next season by Cloris Leachman. Leachman, in her first regular role on a TV series in nine years, will portray Beverly Ann Garrett, the sister of Rae’s character.

Dorian Harewood, who starred in “The Jesse Owens Story,” will portray the title character in “Justice Delayed: The Lenell Geter Story,” a TV movie for CBS. It’s about a 24-year-old engineer who was convicted of an armed robbery that he did not commit. Also featured in the film will be Paul Winfield, Dabney Coleman, Hoyt Axton and Debbi Morgan.
