Ammonia Leak Injures 14, Routs 150 in W. Virginia

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. —
Fourteen people suffered minor injuries and 150 people were forced from their homes Tuesday by a leak of at least 800 pounds of a potentially fatal toxic chemical at an ice and storage plant.
Authorities said an equipment malfunction resulted in the escape of anhydrous ammonia.
