Willie Roger Holder, who is accused of hijacking a plane on June 2, 1972, in an unsuccessful bid to free black activist Angela Davis, was extradited to the United States from France, where he had been arrested on unreported charges, the FBI said. Holder and Catherine Marie Kerkow were accused of hijacking Western Airlines Flight 701 from Los Angeles to Seattle. The hijackers were given $500,000 before the jet flew to Algeria. Kerkow remains a fugitive.
