Zsa Zsa to Marry No. 8, but Says Four Don’t Count
Zsa Zsa Gabor said today she’s giving marriage another whirl in August, wedding Prince Frederick von Anhalt, Germany’s Duke of Saxony, at her Bel Air home.
It will be her eighth marriage.
“With all of my previous marriages,” Gabor said, “I’ve only had three husbands--Conrad Hilton, the father of my daughter, George Sanders and my first, Burhan Asaf Belgee, the minister of propaganda of Turkey. The other four were only legalized love affairs.”
Gabor said the bridegroom, married three times previously, is 45 and that she is 55--no matter what anyone says.
“I went through so many rich men and young men it’s time to settle down,” she said. “The prince has been after me for four years. I’m tired of old Englishmen and Americans in their 20s.”
