USC’s Morrison Will Be UCSB Athletic Director
Stan Morrison, former USC basketball coach and now an associate athletic director at the school, will be named athletic director at UC Santa Barbara today.
Morrison, 46, spent seven years as the Trojans’ basketball coach before being fired after the 1985-86 season, when the team finished last in the Pacific 10 Conference. The Trojans had been co-champions the previous season.
The job at UC Santa Barbara opened recently when Ken Droscher resigned.
