A man walked into a Northern Ireland village pub, killed a Protestant businessmen with two pistol shots to the head and escaped, police and witnesses said. The outlawed Irish Republican Army claimed responsibility and said John Kyle, 37, was killed because he was providing building supplies to the security forces. The British domestic news agency, Press Assn., said Kyle owned a sand and gravel quarry near a police station being rebuilt after a bombing. The pub is in Greencastle, about 65 miles west of Belfast.
