Disaster Relief Worker Sent
UCLA student Brian Johnson will serve in Colombia during August as a Red Cross volunteer helping victims of the Nevado del Ruiz volcano disaster. Johnson is one of three volunteers being sent from the Los Angeles Red Cross chapter. He has taught elementary school in Bolivia, served as a public health worker in Panama and has traveled extensively throughout Central and South America.
