Donald F. Karcher, 55, has resigned from the board of trustees of Winn Enterprises, a Los Angeles-based business trust that is the parent of Knudsen Foods, the financially troubled dairy products company.

Karcher, through his secretary, declined to give a reason for his resignation, which occurred in July. Karcher joined Winn’s board in 1982. He is president of Carl Karcher Enterprises.
