Prisoner’s Plea

Share

I have been in prison since March, 1983. Since then I have lost nearly all contacts with the outside world and I’ve never felt so lonely and rejected in all my life as I do at this time.

I am a white male, 40 years old, but loneliness doesn’t pick any color, sex or age to fall upon. A letter may not mean much to most people but to me it would be a great thrill to come in from a hard day’s work and find a friendly letter on my pillow.

So, if anyone would like to write and share a smile with a lonely man I’d be happy to hear from you, and, if you would like, you can send me a stamp so I can answer you faster as stamps are sometimes hard for me to get.
